Barry has been working in photogrammetry and 3D cartography for over 46 years. A veteran of laser scanning, he has been building digital twins for over 25 years. His passion is the camera - capturing images, how to get the best and also how to use them when you have them. Based now in Liverpool, he has worked on projects in over 80 countries, all seven continents and a couple of planets. Projects from Nuclear, Aerospace, Oil and Gas and AEC, film fx, Heritage and Crime Scene documentation. His other passion, apart from Blues guitar, trout and books, is teaching image capture and management through his company RICHPIX 360 His New Book 'Pixel to Place: the art and science of Reality Capture' is to be published in November 2025
