Reality capture is evolving beyond simply collecting point cloud data. In this live demonstration, attendees will see how the XGRIDS hardware and software ecosystem connects field capture, LiDAR data, visualization, 3D Gaussian Splatting, and downstream project workflows. Using XGRIDS technology including the Lixel L Series, Lixel K2, PortalCam, Lixel Studio, and Lixel Cyber Color, we'll walk through the capture-to-creation process and explore how different tools can be matched to different project requirements and deliverables. Rather than focusing on individual product specifications, this session will demonstrate the complete workflow, from capturing a physical environment to producing measurable spatial data and highly immersive digital representations of the real world. Attendees will leave with a practical understanding of where these technologies fit within modern reality capture workflows and how hardware, software, and emerging 3D visualization technologies are beginning to converge.
