While your reality capture software reports an accuracy number, most have never checked whether that number is true, and clients rarely ask until something doesn't line up and there is a major problem. This session looks at real projects that appeared clean and shows where the error was actually hiding. You'll leave able to judge whether your own deliverables would survive scrutiny from an engineer or a licensed surveyor, and knowing which parts of your workflow are most likely to be quietly costing you accuracy. You don't need any prior surveying background to attend. This session will be led by Rami Tamimi, a Professional Surveyor and PhD Candidate in Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University.
